If doing big monitors, I would go for a desk with more depth. These are both 24'' and if side-by-side they look amazing for trading, but the viewing angle is not the best as they are a bit too close to the front of the desk, hence one is now vertical. I've actually grown to prefer vertical setup as it is better on space management for multiple charts, for my purposes; this is on 1080p.
Sometimes I pull out the laptop and have it on the right just for order entry, and keep the two monitors for just charting.

Trading "battle stations" are like trading strategies, the most important thing is results. If it works for you, and allows you to meet the goals of your trade plan, it's exactly what you need!
Yup, most ppl I know trade from mobile these days. That's what cloud based charting platforms have done to market, now everything seems to be away just few fingertip touches.
