Hi xiaosi

Good to hear you are settled in BrisVegas, I actually live down on the Gold Coast!!!!

Setup looking good and a lot of points you brought up there resonated with me. I too have been looking for office space outside of home but in the end couldn't justify the cost. How did you look at this situation??

Also, are you still trading the dax? I feel as though mastering this market, there is no need for anything else. It really knows how to move.

Anyways good luck and take it easy.

G'day! Glad to hear from ya! I've got a toddler so an office at home just wasn't working. I wanted something under 600 per month, incl. GST, internet, etc. I've done ok. I got this one for 150 per week. There's a nicer spot across the road for 99 per week, but the internet is crappy wifi, so it wasn't an option once i tested the quality and latency.

As far as the Dax goes, yeah i really liked the instant feed back the Dax gave you....but i want to trade from 8 to 5 if possible, so its out of the question now, sadly. I'm confident i can find some plays on the SPI or other local markets. Its just a matter of applying the same observation to develop plays as i did on the Dax. Only now i don't have the distraction of an ever changing method as well, because i haven't changed the basic way i trade now for so long. Anyway, I've got a year to get profitable again before i need to go looking for a career position again...yuk!

So many beautiful setups.

I'm currently rockin a 3-screen setup. If I could do it over again, and it's still a plan in the works for the future, I would have just went with 4 monitors from the start.

This image is a bit dated, setup is the same however charts are a bit different.

Oh well haha.

Well I've finally settled back in Australia, after 12 years in China. I grabbed a new video adapter and a couple of Acer screens and added to my setup. I've rented an office this time, a 5 minute walk from our townhouse here in a Brisbane suburb. Got to start all over again after finally finding success on the Dax the last few years. I'm going to try and trade the SPI or the NKD, I'll watch them both for a while and work on some plays. Trying to get a data feed for the HSI/HHI as well that supports historical data. Also going to look at some 1:1 index spreads.

Got a pretty good connection here now, NT is finally working well. Its not locked up once on me today, the first time since i purchased it.

Added my last screen, just for news. Thats it, no more!

Is that the new TT platform? If so, how do you like it?

Yeah so far ok. A few annoying little issue like charts not updating, but it doesn't happen all the time. I have not executed on this yet though. I'll keep trialing it, hoping they get the HKFE one day as well.

My humble trading configuration. 2 monitors running off a strong laptop. Simple but its all I need, though i'd like to eventually switch to a desktop with 3 monitors of the same kind and size.

I recently ditched four monitors in favor of one big 42" 4k monitor. I can now look at everything I need to on one screen.
