Again: NEVER use this kind of software to control your order entry machine, that's asking for trouble big time!

So what I do is having the mouse and keyboard connected to my trading/order entry machine and control the less important one remotely. For the odd glitch I keep a mouse and keyboard connected to the other machine too (I don't mind as it is in an other room).

Thanks Vvhg, good points. I use the order/trading pc now as master, and the less important one remotely (as you suggested). Actually, I'm now typing this on PC1 and browsing/posting on futures.io (formerly BMT) on PC2. How great is that!

its hard to tell in the picture but the upper monitor sits on a camel saddle and the lower monitor fits between the legs and below the seat bow -this is used to remind me every day of my daughter who works and lives full time in qtar -the richest little country in the world

I recently built my first pc for trading only, it runs on an i5 2500 and for graphics currently one nvs 295, I will be adding 4 more monitors soon and am torn between 2 more NVS 295's or 1 radeon hd 7870 eyefinity 6 with 6 mini display port's. If anyone has an opinion either way I would love some input. The monitors are 24" Desk is temporary until I can find one that I like that has matching office furniture.

I've had a Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6, and a Radeon HD 7870 Eyefinity 6. I wouldn't buy again, because they have some sort of signaling problem that causes "flickering". Just google "radeon eyefinity flickering".

I've just purchased two FirePro 2460 cards off ebay for about $175 each, hoping it will solve this flickering problem since I am splitting the load across two cards, and it uses a different set of drivers. This was the best card for me, because I can use my existing mini-DisplayPort cables. Each card supports 4 monitors and is passive (cooling). The $350 is less than the Eyefinity 6 card, which I will be putting on ebay shortly.

Mike

Bloomberg's HQ in Tokyo. I like the electronic ticker tape running through the floor.

I love those monitor "tree stand" looking things... I have to look into something like that.
