I recently ditched four monitors in favor of one big 42" 4k monitor. I can now look at everything I need to on one screen.

I have been on 1 screen (17" laptop) since 2014.

I am running at 3840 x 2160. I had four monitors previously but am only showing three of my screens at a time now. If I had to do it over again I might go for the 55 inch model that is available. (they also have a 49 inch)

Sorry if i missed the screenshot

I would like to see how u fit in 3 of your monitors on the 42 inch.
Reason is i am planning to have 2 of my 27 inch monitors on the side vertical
Would like to see if this will work

Also are u using to trade multiple instruments?
or
1 instrument on different timeframes?

Also can u split your screen and use it as if u have multiple monitors? i think u can do that

When u have the time.. thanks
J

I use ninja trader. I only trade one instrument (6e). My three screens are 1) Footprint chart which takes up the entire left side of the monitor. 2) Jigsaw DOM, market heatmap, two tapes which takes up 1/4 of the screen 3) Two 150 tick candle charts (one compressed to show the entire day and the other showing price action).

In Ninja trader you just open multiple windows, not split screens. I haven't tried doing it myself.

I took a screen shot this morning (showing the sim screen just for security reasons). You really can't appreciate the size of the individual charts by the picture. You would be much better off doing what I did; I just took the spec dimensions of the screen and outlined it. I then was able to see the available space.

2 monitors and 2 big charts are enough for me for following 1 market. Comfortable chair but not too comfortable (in order to avoid sleeping on you desk).

No wires and no gadgets all over the place = happy wife and no distractions

This is my make shift zero gravity trading desk.
I eventually want to upgrade the chair, but this chair is very comfortable for now.
The nice zero gravity chairs are about $2500

That box leaning is my wife's honey do list that hasn't happened yet. Need to hang curtain rods soon.

I think this is one of the better setups that I have seen. It's a very relaxed and no clutter. Total Zen.
You can tell a lot about the trader's approach while judging the clutter that is around him.
I truly appreciate your minimalism and appreciation for interior design.

Wanted to share my trading desk with you. I'm trading CFDs on currencies, commodities and index.
Running a little kind of Hedge fund there.
4 screens powered with a desktop(hidden) and a Matrox tripleHead2go. Moniters stands by with a Lavolta quad monitor .
2 screens of 23inches, 1 of 22inches and 19 inches.
The laptop is for reading in general, and the tablet is just for fun and watching the positions when i take a rest in another room.

Edit : My new setup, same screens, different desktop, different table :
