@wldman you could purchase two dual monitor stands and rotate the monitors vertically, that is the only option I know of.

Cheers

what I think as well....and save 700 bucks doing it too.

The concern is that on their short edge the monitors will be too tall for the stand. DB

@VinceVirgil just bought one of these. Hated for for first 10 minutes. Two days later can't go back to my old mouse. I like the fact your hand stays stationary.

You know, now that I think about it, I never get past the first 10 minutes...in fact, its more like 5 seconds.
I never gave it a chance. Exact same Logitec with the programmable buttons.

I just bought a new convetional mouse.

Now, I'm thinking, I better look at it again...I have 30 days to try it out....thats the return policy.

Oh great, now I have to go back and try it myself or it will eat me up.

@VinceVirgil force yourself to use it for a few days. You still may not like it but I would give it a chance. I really hate mice. I have never found one I completely liked. This one is not perfect but the fact it is stationary is a lot less stress on the wrist and hand. The trackball is much faster than regular mouse hand motion once you adjust. Looking forward to when there are no mice and we control computers just by thinking.

@ThatManFromTexas thanks for the recommendation.

"The day I became a winning trader was the day it became boring. Daily losses no longer bother me and daily wins no longer excited me. Took years of pain and busting a few accounts before finally got my mind right. I survived the darkness within and now just chillax and let my black box do the work."

Here's my trading setup...

6 monitors. 3 Dell 22" (bottom row on EasyMountLCD 3 monitor stand), 1 ASUS 27" (middle top), 1 Samsung 20" (top left) and 1 Dell 20" (top right). The smaller Dell + Samsung monitors will be replaced later this year.

The desk is an IKEA Galant Desk and my chair (not shown) is a BodyBilt Executive Chair with Headrest.

Just saw Mike's note that my image wasn't working...I'll try again:

@ThatManFromTexas thanks for the recommendation.

One of the companies I worked for built control rooms for power plants. The track balls were of a size just a bit smaller than a bowling ball and fitted in such a way below the table that only a small part protruded above the desk. The operator rested the palm of his hand on this ball - the mouse buttons were positioned at his finger tips.

They worked very easy and smoothly. Guess that spoiled me. I don't know whether they still make them - probably not due to the cost.

@Big Mike

Or anyone that might know.

Looking on tyke supply for a monitor stand or stands that will allow me to mount 4 monitors side by side horizontally with the monitors in a vertical position...so tall not wide as is typical.

Does anyone use such a set up or know where I might find a stand or pair of stands?

The monitors are 2 x 22 inch E228WFPC and 2 x 23 in U2312HM23

Thanks

Sth like THIS?
Takes up to two 24" in portrait.

A track ball the size of a bowling ball? Was the the monitor the size of a JumboTron?

Kidding, of course.

But that does sound expensive. Had to be some scientific reasons for a track ball to be so large. Precision, safety, reliabilty. Likely all 3 and more reasons that i cant think of.

I'd like to see a picture of that...
