Anyone catch this? My S/R was drawn too far away for me to jump in. Pattern was classic though.. I drew the brown after the move. Lots of cancelled trades for me today lol.

Most Important : how do you determine your exit ?

You know what you know but you do not know what you do not know.
You do not see things how they are, you see things how you are.
In life you do what you want but you do not want what you want.

Funny you ask, I was just going over my trade management rules. To summarize I am looking to be taken out on trailing stops around the next support or resistance level. Exits are tricky though, and its something that I have always had trouble with.

How about yourself? How do you exit your trades?

We think alike.. 2 trades for me, 2 break evens. But after last Friday's 35 point range, I can understand a choppy day like today. Price is just hanging out by its midpoint. I am still going to watch later for a strong rejection at an extreme of todays range. Then of course, look for a 1-2-3

There are worst things than a 1.5 point loss on the ES. Lunch time drift always gets the best of us though. How do you manage your exits cpi65? Bravo for posting in real time, something that 90% of traders will never do. Reminds me of another thread somewhere else on the internet

EDIT: Looks like you took that one Break even eh?

no mate, out for 6 ticks to the south (watch it, it's gonna bloody tank now I bet).

Stops are simply behind pullbacks with targets at next s/r.

What other thread are you talking about anyway? Is this like an in-forum joke or summit?
