Thanks: 18 given, 10 received

Background as I understand things:

US has a 50/50 chance of going back into recession
Europe is a mess with little growth expected for at least a year or two
US oil inventories are up
US$ is rising
Oil is priced in dollars

AND

Oil prices are rising

Am I missing something here?

I do not own or trade oil in any shape or form.

Just Wondering
