Darnit I was going to ask George about this cake and if it is authentically Greek. It was covered in flowers.

I think it is basically what I had on my birthday just maybe with Cointreau. http://ww7.10thkitchen.com/2014/02/raspberry-greek-yogurt-cake-chambord-ganache/?usid=23&utid=7057828035 I love the humor in her writing there.

The young lady who wrote the recipe looks strikingly like my Greek ex-GF, makes sense as my GF's name was Olga from her Russian grandmother and Danguole is a Ukrainian name. Europe, so very complicated and so misremembered.

A good thing ancient Greece gave us ultra-militaristic nationalism* which simplifies everything. We would not have American as it is today or DT in the Whitehouse without this brilliant reduction of entanglement... Can we send Greece a bill for that?

As Danguole says in the recipe above "shine on, you unbalanced little diamond" George

*Or so I was told by my GF's uncle (Spartans et. all) but he also reckoned that the Greeks discovered the moon (he really did). As every observant tourist in Colombia deduces, it was discovered by Julio Garavito, a Colombian. Say that enough and some nationalist will believe it.
