hello everyone, i am new here, may i ask you a career question? i work in China as a New York stocks day trader for 5 years now, i only work at night because of the different time zone, since my graduation. Working at night is too exhausted for me, so i want to change a job, such as a sales job in a bank; but they all require sales experience.

So brothers, do you have any suggestions for me, about my future career? What kind of jobs in a bank is suitable for me? Insurance kind job? Securities job?

What is day trader's future career if he wants to quit?

Thank you everyone

I suppose moving to the US is out of the question to get normal hours? If not the US maybe a few time zones? I'm sure there are also other markets you could trade which have better time frames... but i'm new at all this so I can't really suggest any.

On terms of other careers, I would assume day-traders develop a very analytical mind. In that case there are probably a ton of careers you could pursue. At least I know Google hired a friend of mine who was a National Puzzle champion that traded stock options for a year and hated it.

This is one interesting question. How are you doing as a trader in term of results?

I would assume if you had managed to stay in the job for 5 years, you should be doing quite well.
