At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. To succeed, you need to surround yourself with the right support system, educational content, and trading mentors Ė all of which you can find on futures io, utilizing our social trading environment.

With futures io, you can find honest trading reviews on brokers, trading rooms, indicator packages, trading strategies, and much more. Our trading review process is highly moderated to ensure that only genuine users are allowed, so you donít need to worry about fake reviews.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading sites:
  • We are here to help. Just let us know what you need.
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community.  It's free and simple.

Trade Expos?

Has anyone gone to any of these? I've watched a few videos and we seem to have webinars up the wazoo. So why travel?

I would think I would only go to write off a vacation.

Or if there is a Big Mike's conference or meeting, to meet some of you guys.

Anybody have good experiences to share about these expos?

@Big Mike, are you planning anything like this in your long term plan?

If you're starting out or your system that you're working on is missing something, then it's worth taking a break and visiting one these carnival shows. Other than that, it's a waste of valuable time.

I very much agree, if you are meeting up with friends, etc.... then sure... otherwise, waste of time, best to go and take your significant other to a vacation and use the time that way...

i went to the one in NYC and it was such a waste of time... it was all marketing and mainly geared to noobs...

Hey RPM,

I had a small thread here on the one which just happened in Dallas:
https://futures.io/traders-hideout/6810-dallas-texas-traders-expo-june-15-18-2011-a-3.html

I am good with my personal trading, but met a number of good people, and learned a little. I think good for networking, and you never know when you will meet someone who could open 'doors' for you, whether it be trading related or not.
