I have been reading this forum for a while I must say mig mike put together a great stuff along with some other serious trader in this forum great work ...
I see lots of good system out there in the forum some are good for ES some are for TF .. I like to trade YM specially scalping so just wondering if the good scalper here could share some idea and system specificly for YM
Hi Silly go to the thread All you need. There is a few systems and setups in there that are fairly good. Not perfect but there is no perfect. It might take quite a bit of reading though to figure it all out.
Very helpful and useful, but like Silly I am struggling with the rules:
1/ What is your INITIAL stop loss as I notice in some instances the trailing stop would have you taken you out almost immediately.
2/ What is your rule for using the TRAILING stop eg on the short trade in your uploaded image I see instances where price penetrated the TS but you stayed in the trade. Does price have to close on the other side of the TS. Or does the whole bar have to be on the other side of the TS. Or does the bar have to change color?
3/ Why did you not take the long signal at around 7.55am your time? If you had, price moved 5 ticks against you and penetrated the TS 3 times in the first 5 bars before being a small winner.
4/ Also like Silly, my charts show that the small sell signal after your first long did break zero on both raw and predictive. If that had been the case for you - what would have stopped you taking the trade ( a losing one)?
5/ I guess what I am struggling with is seeing how the rules and B Bands actually will keep you out of chop as it seems almost every change in bar colour corresponds with a crossing of the zero line. I guess the longer time view (7 range) will help in some cases.
Very much appreciate what you have done here, just that I would like to get a clearer understanding of how you are applying the rules
