VPOC at 55s has been touched, I am expecting a rebound toward next VPOC 87s represented by a CPOC at 82s with large volume interest.

Lately I've been playing with VP, on a macro analysis level it helps me identify the market direction with 2/3 scenarios, generally speaking it does not affect my trading rules in terms of decision management but I like to see where my trades stand (micro level) compared to the bigger picture.

Target for today CPOC at 82s with resistance at 60s

How did you like the FT71 webinar?

Is that GomMP or Rancho Dinero?

That is 2 x GomMP one daily and one cumulative on screen for the composite. I set the candles to transparent to clean up the view. I am using this type of chart for my macro vision or my homework as you guys like to say, when it comes to trade a switch to smaller timeframes and micro analysis. I found FT71's webinar very inspiring. I used to work with VP but he enriched my analysis with it.

Mike

I use the on screen function, there is no starting day, the profile adapts to what is seen on the screen. I try to identify range areas (the white bands) and build my profile around those areas. I also use the custom profile function (insert key + mouse) to draw profiles within a selected time range. Once I focus on a specific area I plot what I consider important S&R with the help of Vpoc,Poc,LVN,HVN.

@ redratsal,

Your GomMP Color Bar "Heat" mode is very smooth. Do you achieve that with the "Nb Smoothing bars" setting and/or the "Alpha" Display setting ? If Yes, what are your settings ?

In response to @ Mikes's post, you mentioned in your post #644 above, that "That is 2 x GomMP one daily and one cumulative on screen for the composite". I can't seem to understand the "cumulative on screen for the composite" setting on GomMP ... or, are you referring to the setting on GomCD ?

Lolu

Hello Lolu,

Yes I am smoothing Ctrl+ Ctrl - the Heat up to where values (VA, POC, Vwap etc...) are not changing. I try to reach a good result without compromising values in order to better identify high and low volume nodes.

For the composite (extreme right) I use the / key as explained here by gomi :

0. Main Settings

0. Plot mode : (cycle through them using / Key)
Daily : draws daily profiles
Bar : draws profiles on each bar
OnScreen : takes only in account the bars shown on screen
All : takes all bars that are left of the last drawn before, even if they are not drawn
FromDate: takes all bars from date specified in StartDate parameter
None : no default profiles, custom profiles manually added will show

The nice thing with the Onscreen function it replots VP with the information you have on screen without setting a day to start, so if you scroll left or right or zoom in/out it will recalculate the VP automatically. With gomi's hotkey function you do not need to input settings in your indicator window you can use them according to your need and they will stay on even after you restart your platform.

Redratsal, is there anyway to get a template of your charts. They look very useful for critical areas.

Thanks
Hector
