I have a question which creates a conundrum in my mind.

When we see a large buyer we also have an equally large seller. When we have a large buyer we have an equally large seller.

If this is the case, then the monochrome tape is the best solution?

But ..... do we not know that it's a large buyer as the buy was at market and eating up limit orders so we know that it's buyers. I say this because a new buyer has entered the market and got filled off current players. An aggressive order taking passive orders.

So we actually do need the bid ask categorised or can we use monochrome?

We do not need ask bid, moreover we must stay out off bid ask than we start to study order flow
Next questions you will have will drive you in the right direction

So we are only concerned with if it's a buy or sell .... irrelevant if it crosses the spread?

Ok

So it must be the aggressive b passive and the speed of the order flow we are concerned with? Fast tape = emotions = crowd?

Disbalance is difference between amnount of market orders and limit orders which manifest itself in a price movement
Price will move as much ticks range as needed to fullfil the market order

Emotions Important but not)))
If we do not care buyer or seller and this is not Important for price movement as there no difference in volume than what Important?
