Great. What you have beeng doing to solve this problem?

Until now I've been trying to fight it by being aware when it's happening in live trading. Sometimes I have success, sometimes not.

I think this self sabotaging behaviour is the single most reason why retail traders fail.

Having read your posts I think there is something deeper in my psychological profile that needs resolving before I can trade with full potential.

1. I have alsways succeeded at what I have done
2. My father was hard task master, he would never say you did well so this meant you were always trying to do better and better. In fact I think it made me be fearful of doing bad.

Thinking about it I have a fear of doing bad and letting people down and I am cutting winners by fearing a loss and making losses worse by fearing the loss and hoping it turns positive.

Yes it is. But it is not self sabotaging. You may think it is. But than you go DEEP you see that something bigger than trading success is there. You will see this on your own.


Yes you do. Because you KNOW THE CORRECT behavior and you CAN NOT execute it. THis is not because you bad or good. This is not because you weak or strong. THis is because you forget but you will remeber.



I know you want to help and even feel you are helping than placing your thougths of what is there. But i worning you.
Better to stop doing this and let me drive the truck. Because you are afraid of this "problem" deep within and your "help" no more than attempts to run away so you providing me those roots hoping i will follow )))

Think of that
You have a very GOOD REASONS to self sabotage yourself by doing such things which bothers you.
I want 5 reasons that self sbotage is good for you.
