I first became interested in futures after the stock market crash
of 1987. Despite having some of the best stock portfolio
managers in the country at the time, I lost the same 40% as
everyone else.
So, started looking to more diversified trading vehicles.
I've gone through many different phases over the years.
My own trading, following advisory services, managed accounts, etc.
Only resumed trading recently.
So, am happy to find good forums
to read and share ideas and experiences.
I have been trading stocks and options for many years and am now venturing into futures. I have ninjatrader 8 platform ,tradovate and tradingview. Would like to learn more about futures trading strategies and hopefully help others in the future.
New to the group. I've traded stocks, futures, and crypto off and on over the years not very successfully I might add. Lately, I'm using NinjaTrader 8 and trying to learn to trade futures. Would like to learn more about futures trading strategies and automation and hopefully help others in the future.
Marc from europe. Market profile trader and of course still learning (since 2015). Im trading futures only, mostly ES and HG with sierra chart.
I have completed a few training courses. Among others SMB, Dalton, Axia. However, nothing is more important than my own observations and thus progression I think.

Hello Mike! Great forum! I have been day trading stocks off and on since 1998 (using mostly charts and TA) with little success. For the last 4-5 years, I have been focusing on futures trading using Depth of Market (DOM) and taking ques from price action and volume profile steps. John Grady's webinars at nobsdaytrading.com have been a huge help for me! So far, I have not had a losing week since the beginning of this year! I am hoping to retire soon to focus on trading full time!
I love this forum and I wanted to be part of it.
In the recent years I got really interested in trading futures and I'm just studying as much as I can.

I'm not new to trading but my success is just starting. I'm doing a trading evaluation with a prop firm named Take Profit Trader. I need help with the fact I open a 5 micro lot MGC (micro gold) and it trades like it's 8 full lots! 85 ticks/pips put my trade at negative 8k! How do I fix this mess.
