Hey everyone,
Looking forward to meeting and hopefully getting involved with a good bunch of traders. I’m an average programmer. I learn by getting involved and making my hands work. I’ve traded for about 30 years. I prefer the simple things like stocks and futures. I think forex is over rated and I stay away from crypto. Most recently I’m getting involved with options.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I started trading Crypto about 18 months ago with varying degrees of success and have recently segued into trading traditional market futures, mainly the Nasdaq.
I'm still very much a beginner and I'm not confident in a trading system yet so keeping my exposure small on the MNQ but trying to learn, trying to define a profitable system and just get a bit better each day/week/month.
Hoping to learn lots from being here and hopefully one day I can become a consistent profitable trader!

I'm a student of the market since 2010. Traded blind on the side for 6yrs, then with TA, Swing trading strategies starting mid 2016. Found TheStrat in 2020. Tried trading TheStrat most of 2021 without consistent success. To be fair I really did not manage my risk well, lets just say that. Fizzled my account to unacceptable levels last fall... finished burning the pan in February this year.
Now am a happy student of Jim Dalton. I use Thinkorswim. Have not been able to setup Monkey Bars to satisfaction as of yet. Will be transitioning soon to windotrader or sierrachart or ... for market profile.
Trying to keep an open mind all around.

Hopefully I can share somethings of value with others in exchange.

My name is Perri and I trade futures and future options but till recently this wasn't my day job.
Luckily I never blew up my account as I only take calculated risks and i.e trade with risk defined strategies; However I cant say that I'm happy with my performance either so trying to improve on that especially now that I'm fully retired.
