My first job in 1998 was as an equities day trader at Schonfeld Securities and I have been in love with trading ever since. For the past 4 years, I have switched to trading index futures and have extensively studied Wyckoff and this methodology of analyzing the market was my "aha" moment, and I have been analyzing the market with the Wyckoff methodology ever since.
I was lucky enough to discover the Mbox trading platform and for someone who already has the foundations of the mechanics of trading and understands Wyckoff, this is the only platform I have seen that actually improves your edge. My win% went up by over 10% and my risk to reward improved as well. Just as Wyckoff used to say, if you can find entries as close to the danger zone as possible, then your risk is tighter and your reward to risk ratio improves as well,

My name is Randy. I have been in the business since 1985. I've been a retail broker, institutional broker/trading desk trader trading Asian,European, and US futures/option markets.Worked for the same UK based firm twice in my employment life.Worked in the CBOT for about a dozen years. Was one of the first Globex/ACCESS and I forget the CBOT's electronic platform acronym starting in 1991.Executed trades for CTA's,hedgefunds,other institutional trading firms across the globe while executing trades on those futures exchanges across the globe.
I have been a self-employed trader since 1997. Trading my own account since 1988. Been through boom/bust times a few times that virtually every trader who trades his own dough experiences. I mostly trade currency futures but I trade everything and almost anything. Used to be that specific markets had certain characteristics because humans were doing the trading. Treasuries/bond markets traded very differently than say Gold or Corn and to some extent that exist somewhat today but to a much smaller degree than back in the day.With algo's doing most of the trading and trading decisions, it's a different ballgame.

I began trading options 3 years ago....lost my butt. Then switched to equities and lost my butt there too.
I switched to futures 18 months ago and lost my butt for a while there too.
But now I'm figuring it out finally. I've had a good setup for a while....but the emotional control has been the hardest. But I'm really making progress with the emotions.
