I`ve been studiying the forex and stock markets for a while now. This year I switched to futures. My main focus is on scalping strategies and short term trading. I am looking forward to find some new trading friends and to exchange market knowledge.
I came across the site by accident while searching for tools for ThinkorSwim which I joined about a month ago.
I am basically new to the Investment trading and would like to learn more before commiting my pension money, That's I want to spend time learning via ToS and hopefully through all the members of this group.
I guess my biggest worry is to filter out all the various strategies and tools surrounding trading and find one that would be suitable for me
I do not have time for day trading as I volunteer where I live and I do not want to wait long time to find out how my trades went. Therefore I would like to trade for about 1 to 4 weeks.
So if anyone can help me narrow down my goal, I would appreciate it. In return I am willing to help out whenever I can.
I've been trading for a while. Mostly using structure/price action/volume analysis to setup trades and orderflow for confirmation. Mostly ES, but occasionally drift into CL and GC.

Hey everyone, my name is Chris have been trading stocks and options for over 20 years. I love doing research, digging deep, and trying to find that one thing it’s going to impact the underlying and jump in before anybody else notices. I’m really happy to be here and looking forward to talking stocks with the group!
I am an engineer who will retire in 1 year and am looking at the possiblility of doing trades to provide a second source of stable income. I started trading in Gold futures and HSI futures around 6 months ago using Multichart. I hope to build a strategey to trade automatically so that the fear and greed of human emotion could be avoided. As most beginner, I won small in some trades and took big loss just a few trades in my previous semi-auto tradings. I have attended some classes learning how to use/programme in MC, phython, Uipath, and some indicators, etc.
I am here to learn how to do it right from all you guys to become a stable trader and be able to make a stable income during retirement.
