Hello Everyone
I am new here. Like many of the posts I have read here, I have had a problem with Futures Trading. In my case, it was errors on the trading platform at Transact Futures that had this grown man weeping. If you are interested in learning more you can see my website at transact.billswebsite.online. I am very angry and would like to call out unscrupulous futures exchanges and brokers.

I look forward to learning and exchanging ideas with all of you. I am glad I am here because I need people smarter than I am so I can do well trading futures.

Thank you and I look forward to working with you

Bill

Trading is a lifetimes education. Take it slowly and don't be in a hurry to use real $. This website is like taking a sip from a fire hose...a big one at that.

Best of luck,

G

Hey relatively new to this forum ! I had an account a long long time ago but I forgot the user name and password. Looking forward to learning and contributing. I have been looking in and out of the forum for a long time over the years but nothing too serious.

Looking forward to contribute and talk about some of the traders I have followed.

I have taken 4 of the Dr. Van Tharp workshops and they are awesome and great ! Very very good

The ones I took were based on Psychology and growing as a person AND the Systems Building Classes were pretty damn cool also. Very very extensive.

I should start a few threads on those.

But I think Dr. Van K Tharp is really where traders should start honestly. It should be top priority for you to start there and then "branch" from there. In my opinion. Then take some math, statistics, programming classes if you want to make your own indis. or buy someone else's system or systems and learn from them....

Hello,
I am a trader IN Australia, and I trade mainly the e-mini.
Am I successful. Not really.
I will be called successful when I can count on a regular weekly repeating income. orrrrrr I can afford to buy a Fleming 58 Motor Vessel.
In the mean time I AM getting better.
I am a total advocate of Al Brooks, and have truly improved having taken his course. I can honestly recommend it. There are so many pretenders out there but AL Brooks is a bit of a " Master" although some call him an eccentric. I believe he is.
It takes eccentrics to be at the " leading edge". Believe me Al is at that edge.

I started life as a SHARE trader and used the Bourse Data Platform. It was absolutely GREAT but sadly " lost its way ".
I decided to take up futures indices and have used CMC as a broker. Do I recommend them . Maybe but they have their own interests FIRST as we all do. If you didnt realise this IS a CLOSED END GAME you need to. By that I mean ,...... when you WIN a position SOMEONE has to lose.....
My biggest mistake is greed followed by not admitting I am wrong when I AM.
My damage always comes from taking too big a position. Too big a contract. Very very damaging. If you follow the rules Of AL Brooks and the VITAL place to PUT your stop loss, then the size of your contract is automatically determined. When you analyse your winning and losing trades Al is ALWAYS right. I hope this is of some small help to someone. Trading is a great thing to do, but it isnt a walk in the park.
Henry

My name is Michael Fletcher; I have been a member of the community for roughly 9 months and have enjoyed a few of the threads. I work at home as a translator so adding translation to my "portfolio" is a good addition, as my work is flexible time wise.
