Full time futures trader here. I have been meaning to introduce myself for some time now. looking forward to going through the posts here and contributing myself.
I've been trading futures on and off with mixed success for more than 10 years -- ES and NQ mainly.
My "hobby" is writing strategies and letting them do the daily grind for me as much as possible. It's fun and it pays -- but one has to have a strong stomach at times!
Long time listener, first time caller. Been trading futures for a couple of years and decided I should probably pop in and participate from time to time.
I’m new to trading been doing it 6 months on demo on Sierra charts. I did try forex about 10 years ago but got burnt. I got into futures about 6 months ago and really like the markets better than forex. Did my research and found Sierra chart. So know I’m just looking how to use it and put the studies on. I like the footprint but trying to find any good educational stuff on it would be appreciated if anyone knows any.
I might be the only ColdFusion programmer that's building a trading system with a knowledge management site for R&D - stonkinalgos[dot]com. I'm the only one I know of , anyway. I'm here looking for trading wisdom, to learn how you algo folks think, and minimize my risk with knowledge. My ultimate goal is to build futures trading algos as my primary source of income.
