is it possible to write code to show the /es rth open as a horizontal line on a renko chart with a line 6pts above the open and a third line 6 pts below the open? Thank you!
have tried this and it does print rth open print except for in renko charts!
def Time =
GetTime()
;
def Start =
RegularTradingStart(GetyYYYMMDD())
;
def First =
Time > Start and Time[1] <= Start
;
def Opening =
if First then Open
else Opening[1]
;
plot Line = Opening;
Line.setPaintingStrategy(paintingStrategy.HORIZONTAL);
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Not sure why you couldn't see the lines. I took you code and was able to see the line on a Renko chart. My time setting is 1 year 10 ticks so each bar represents a 2.5 point move. Unfortunately, I can't post the picture of my chart....but I assure you that the lines are on my chart.
Here's my code. The only think I added as the code to draw the +- 6 point lines
# Begin code
def Time =
GetTime()
;
def Start =
RegularTradingStart(GetyYYYMMDD())
;
def First =
Time > Start and Time[1] <= Start
;
def Opening =
if First then Open
else Opening[1]
;
plot aLine = Opening;
aLine.setPaintingStrategy(paintingStrategy.HORIZONTAL);
