Hi guys,
We want to have more ThinkOrSwim content on futures io.
We've reached out to ThinkOrSwim in the past and have asked them to become an official site sponsor, which would enable them to have:
- Official AMA thread, where an officer can directly answer questions and help members
- Webinars, educational & how-to's as well as new features, plus Q&A sessions
- Elite Offers, discounts on ThinkOrSwim products/services for Elite Members
- Banner ads, increase brand awareness so we can inform a wider audience
All of this would also have the added benefit of more ThinkOrSwim content being shared within our community, which we welcome.
If you believe this would be helpful, we are asking for your help. Please tell ThinkOrSwim you want to see them on futures io! You can Tweet them, email them, post on their forums, and refer to this thread.
Anyone from ThinkOrSwim that is a decision making position can reach out to me by clicking:
I believe the best chance we have as a community is for as many members as possible to take this action, repeatedly if necessary, to get their attention.
Now that TOS is a part of Schwabitrade, I seriously doubt that they would have any interest in joining this forum. I had an account with TDA and when I read that Schwab was buying TDA, I started to search for what Chuck's idea of the platform was and would be. What they have said is that TOS would continue as is, at least for the time being. IN the longer term, they want to integrate it into their platforms. I would be less than honest if I didn't opine that Schwab is not exactly known for cutting-edga software.
My opinion is that you would be well-served to reach out to Tom Sosnoff at Tastytrade. First, Tasty was conceived by the creators of TOS and that is where they all are now. Tasty operates a brokerage that is concerned with futures and options. Tasty now operates their own EXCHANGE that is dedicated to futures products (The Small Exchange) for the smaller investor to get them started in futures. Tasty was recently bought by a global presence that will have them in 60-odd countries in the next few years. And if that isn't enough, they were recently rated the number one online broker by IBD. Their educational offrings are all free and extremely good. And they all trade online and you can follow them.
Full disclosure: I have recently consolidated all of my accounts at Tasty. I do not work there or have any business interests in Tasty. But I seriously value all that they have taught me.
