Horizontal line of moving average

hi,

how do I plot a horizontal line on a 987 tick chart to show the current H4 50 EMA value? the horizontal line on 987 tick chart should extend from the last 50 candles to the rightmost of the chart.

thanks
tank

I don't believe you can do that. Tick charts are not time based, so time based information is difficult to handle. For example, you can have a bar that crosses the 4H closing mark, so how do you assign the value?

Yes, you can do it. There are several vendors that have MTF indicators. Here's one I can recommend as I have purchased them. The company was sold to Purelogik, but still excellent support.

@wilson619, you've seen this done on thinkorswim? Seems that company sells NinjaTrader indicators only. Just curious if this is possible on TOS, specifically to combine tick and time aggregations.

Thanks,
JayC
