Hi! i need help please.

I want to copy my trades of thinkorswim (TOS) to my account of Interactive brokers. (IB)

i was investigating the api of thinkorswim but i can't find how can i authorize my account for send the trades to Interactive brokers.i saw something about "autotrading" but this is only for get signals from newsletters.

Another option is to make a script for thinkorswim and run it in TOS

What do you recommend? because i'm a little bit loss with the way can i do it

thank you!

Think or Swim is the brokerage's trading platform. They are not going to allow business at another broker via api while using their platform for free.

Why not use TD? If there is a real reason that you prefer IB (and there could be many) you might consider one of the analytics platforms like @NinjaTrader. You wont get the analytics piece for free, but NT is great and so is IB.

Good Luck

I didn't explained well sorry. I know that Think or swim is a brokerage, and i will use the api from one account with cash (i didn't say that i want to use for free).

I trade in TOS and i want to replicate my trades to another brokerage like Interactive brokers. If you send the signals to one server then you can get the signals from IB for example no?

I configured the api of thinkorswim but i can't see the way for get information about the trades when these has been executed. Some clue? thank you

Sorry I misunderstood.

I think NT had a mulit broker license but I do not know if that solves your problem.

All the best.

I am using TOS for analysis and executing my trades in Interactive Brokers TWS. So far I've been just doing this manually but it's a nuisance. Did you ever find a solution for this?
