I am confused.

If you set your chart to Renko (and not range bars) and for example, set it to 20 ticks (and not ATR)....whatever is displayed on the chart such as how the bricks are "printed" will not remain permanent in a few weeks, so let's say it's now August 2nd and you want to look at July 1st, 2019 Renko history.....the brick prints will be totally different.

Why is it repainting?

I believe it has to do with the amount of history that TOS saves. Renko requires a starting price, say the open at globex, to calculate the moves from. TOS can only keep so much history, so a day from now that starting price will be different
