You need to get live data from them and not 20 Minute delayed. The easy way is do a minimum deposit like $50.00 to open a live account and then email tech support through TOS and they will give you live data in just a few minutes. The other way is to beg and plead with support and I've known a few to get live data feeds that way.
Haven't used TOS in awhile, but what I remember from it was the charts and data were in fact delayed by 20 minutes. A phone call can resolve that to real time. The problem with TOS paper trading are the order fills. It's unusable and ridiculously unrealistic. I remember limit orders only being taken if you placed it like 20-30 cents above the last price.
Thanks for the replies. I just started using using Tradovate's demo for paper trading and it has been working perfectly. Ninjatrader doesn't work on my computer.. Freezes up/lags. Tradovate is all online so it takes almost no resources on my end. All I have right now is a laptop.
