Alternatives to TOS for Options Trading

Folks I'm a little weary of TOS and looking for better alternatives.

I regularly use the scan feature, and if I was more nimble, or Thinkscript was more nimble I might be quite satisfied with the product. To add fuel to my fire, some of the continued TOS shortcomings (yes some are years-old) such as erroneously/prematurely indicating probability of ITM of 100% are hard to continue to tolerate when you're selecting a scan range of 5 to 25%. Plus, TD is not the cheapest to use either.

I continue to ask myself about alternatives and I know there are a lot smarter people in here than me that may have ideas.

Thanks for any suggestions !

I'm not much of an options trader, yet, but I like Tom S's new venture, https://tastyworks.com/

It definitely doesn't have all of the tools that ToS has, but I like it (and the commissions are very reasonable, when trading small).

I'd heard of Optionvue. I'd never tried it, but it seems to have had a following.

There's tastytrade which was created for options and also etrade has improved their interface with options. Its now called power trade(options house). I am an etrade customer (IRA) and seldom trade with it anymore. I also have TDA and know about its issues which is why I keep my etrade account for backup.

I'm actually looking for other alternatives also, but for scalping futures.

Tradier $40 flat fee plan with either Trade Hawk for execution and Live Vol Pro for analytics.

Lightspeed has Sterling LiveVolX as their execution platform.

Depends on the size & frequency of your trading. I don't use the scan feature on TOS. I only check 50-70 charts each night. Other places mentioned as options by people that used to work for TOS: Options House (Now Etrade) & TastyTrade.
First however, have you called advanced options support and spoken with them? 800.672.2098
Secondly, Theotrade has an excellent youtube video on TOS scanning. Don't give up until youve tried the last two.
Otherwise, Try the other options opined here.
