Not much experience programming, just need quick help trying to program a function to return the value of the previous day's close. Not sure if this is the right start, any help please? Trying to save this as Custom 1 to view along other info in the MarketWatch Quotes page. Thank you in advance!

input timeFrame = {default DAY, WEEK, MONTH};

def PrevDayClose = close(period = timeFrame)[-1];
