Looking for a on screen count down timer for 3 minute (or other) candlestick chart. Timer should count down from 3 minutes (or other) in seconds. Should start over from 3 minutes for the next candle.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
It's not possible to code such indicator by thinkscript. The mimimum time period available is 60 seconds
Use standalone software (i'm using freeware Traders CountDown Clock)
I emailed TOS exactly about that and they said it is in the works

If u really need it for making money, try to use SierraChart instead of TOS. There is such indicator/time counter.
Or lets keep your PCs clock synchronized and open clocks on another LCD :-) Or lets just watch TOS clocks - u will have to count what minute is th 3rd one :-)

I have the same requirement now. I would like to have the countdown timer to show the remaining time in seconds before the bar closer for the 1 minute chart. Did you get any workaround that suffice your requirement? Please help me out. Thanks!

I have the same requirement as mentioned in the original thread. It's almost four years since the original thread was posted. Do you aware of any inbuilt TOS functionality introduced for the clock timer?

Tick charts give you the countdown timer in TOS in bottom right. You can set it for Count to Zero or Count Up to your tick number (just mouse over the Tick counter on the screen and click on it). After using Tick charts, time charts seem primitive. If you have a separate screen, put a tick chart up with a real short interval ( like 10 ticks). You would do this to see the VELOCITY OF TRADING much better than on the T/S tape as trades will be streaming across the screen when trading picks up. IMO countdown timers are useless unless you have REAL TIME COLOR GRADIENT VOL BARS.
