1. Click Add Study Filter in the upper right hand corner
2. Click on the little pencil to the right
3. Click on the thinkscript editor tab
4. Click on the drop down menu in the box to the right and select the moving average you want
5. Click Insert
6. In the box to the left, next to the inserted moving average, type ">"
7. Click on the drop down menu in the box to the right and select the moving average you want again
8. Click Insert
9. In the box to the right, change the Displacement to 1

the result for a simple moving average would look like:

SimpleMovingAvg() > SimpleMovingAvg()[1]

If you want the scan to be less sensitive then change the 1 to a larger number, e.g. 5.
