This is 3X oscillator study which was adapted from the 930 setup from eVision. I didn't like it on the chart so it was coded to be in the subgraph.

It has primary and secondary buy/sell (bubbles) which can be turned on /off or just the secondary buy/sell bubbles can be turned on/off.

There are also pop-up alerts for those who like them. They can also be turned on/off. (in study properties)

There are overbought (blue) /oversold (pink) candles (color can be changed in the code) and they can also be removed by placing a # in front of the last line of code when one edits the study.

To understand the methodology of this oscillator refer to the video located at https://www.efuturevision.com/9-30/

extremey interesting, thank you for sharing. i watched the video .. like the overall concept but from an indicator standpoint, i think there's room to simplify it.. will give it a spin.

Any feedback on the other methods he mentions or how successful they are compared to the 9/30?
RedK.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but can't get this study to import after downloading. Just me?

silverbear, me too ..

i think the .ts file was renamed after it was exported - somehow i can't get to import the .ts file alhtough i can see it in my studies folder.

Download the .txt file, open in Notepad, copy all its contents (CTRL+A in Windows) and paste in a new blank study in TOS, then gave it a name, and export it as normal.. that's what i did..

the study itself is a nice piece of code.. but it looks to me understanding the method behind it can give me better results.. i failed to make it provide a signal in line with my current indies.. and also failed to get the signal arrows to show .. didn't spend much time looking into the code.. and will not use, but the 9/30 concept itself is very valuable. so will integrate with some of my own custom studies ..

hope this helps, RedK

To import a file as a TOS study the name MUST follow this template: <study name without spaces>STUDY.ts
TOS won't find it otherwise as it's looking for the STUDY.ts and not just the .ts. So when you down load the the study file put it someplace convient like the desktop and then rename to something like 3X_OscillatorSTUDY.ts and it'll allow you to import it.

Must've had a brain freeze, you can't name a study starting with a number, first character must be a letter. When I originally published this the name was "Three_X_OscillatorSTUDY.ts" sorry for the misdirection.

Got it. Did the rename without number and it worked - thanks!

Any way to convert this study to scan (bullish and bearish) for possible candidates? Would appreciate the thinkscript code.

Thanks for your coding of this 3X Oscillator. I've placed it on my TOS charts and like the results! Have you seen this oscillator coded for the Metatrader platform? I'd like to try using it on Spot Fx with MT4.

Thanks
