If you run your tests on the paper account it will be very slow however the live account is much faster as they enable a lot more threads. They are upping there iron to improve the speed so it should get better over time.
It has had a lot of growing pains as a "bleeding edge" product with the user interface. TDA seems to want to move beyond what the "TastyTrade Dude" put into it before he sold to TDA.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I ran that last test in live and this one also in live, and it was faster, about 40 minutes. I've seen and heard of other backtest apps doing many more symbols (500 max in Prodigio) over longer durations of time or more bars, in seconds, or a minute or two max. I really hope it can get much, much faster. With so many ideas that I'd like to experiment and optimize, time is a huge factor...
The drag-and-drop, visual approach of Prodigio is quite a lure, and I really hope it can get sorted-out.
Hello Tony, I donīt think SD has a language included, It has the most common indicatores, oscillators, etc. and you can combine them with comparisions and math operators.
Request the integration via their website. They will need your account number.
Then you run it from the ToS platform by clicking on the prodigio button that will appear
after integration.
Well, I found discussions with folks writing their own SD formulas, and coding... I was just curious. It's interesting that TDA will be incorporating this into TOS next year, or at least plans to do so. And, the investment into Prodigio, which does much of the same, just differently. Both seem equally slow though.
