Beginners Think Script Starter Kit

I've searched high & low for a basic starter to create a think script scan. Ultimately I've been scanning options for liquidity, ror, prob itm, as well as strike range and put focus. However, I need the added focus to assess the 50 and 100 day moving average to determine the general trend. I would like to make some other enhancements eventually. The canned TOS scans are not quite effective for what I want. If I could just program the most basic, 1 dimensional scan, I think I would be on my way. YouTube and other internet searches have wasted far too much of my time. I spent hundreds of hours of Fortran programming in another lifetime.

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I haven't written any thinkScript but if I wanted to learn it I would start with some sample code and the manual(s) ( Learning Center ? thinkScript� Tutorials and Learning Center ? Study Filters ) and start playing.

edit - this was a webinar I watched last night, you might find it interesting (I have no affiliation with TheoTrade but I do like some of their stuff)

I just watched the webinar and learned a good bit.

I'm not further along on writing a scan, but I did learn more about how to use the existing scans available, along with some new ideas. Also the meaning of bars and time increments are much clearer.
