Response: My test did not show any graying of the bars. By selecting the color bar to true the bars are colored based on trend direction. By selecting false the colors should change to your selected style color on the platform. Please change your style from candle/candle trend. Both will show different colors but you should not see no color for the bars.

do you know, why TOS write
"No such funtion: AddChartLabel at ...",
when I add study by way of:
copy VSA text from Notebook
then open TOS -> Study -> Edit -> New and Paste the text?
Surprisingly, I also had a problem with this function when trying to edit one of custom studies. Mr Script from TOS address this function stating that the addchartlabel has been changed to addLabel. How to use the function is in the library or use TOS wizard to insure you have coded it correctly.
Great!! Mr. Script (TOS Thinksript Lounge) discussed the thinkscript change from using addchartlabel to addlabel. TOS may still accept addchartlabel from existing programs or preloaded but when you originate a new program using addchartlabel it is rejected. Glad you found a way without change. I will be modifying the VSA program to use addlabel instead of addchartlabel. The version level will change to reflect this software change.
Also, my "VSA GreenArrow" TOS scanner stopped working with the latest TOS release due to complexity issues. Mr.Script stated that he will address this issue this next weekend with a possible correction since many of his scan programs are not working as well.
I have modified VPAV1_08Study.ts and changed the program title to "VPAV1_09Study.ts". Besides a few new comment lines addressing the change the only executable code changes were the removal and replacement of the obsolute function "AddChartLabel" with "AddLabel".
Hello Hornblower - Thanks for a great script! Just one request, if possible. Can you show a label for the bar under the mouse cursor? It would really help in learning the various symbols and colors, instead of having to read the comments in the script. Thanks again.
Hornblower, I need a little help getting this study filter into TOS Scan. I did import it as a custom study but in the custom scan what do I do after I have loaded it into the "edit condtions" window. Better yet could you past the study in here so I can copy and past. Sorry for my inexperience.
This scanner for the green arrow is just what I have been trying to develope.

My previous post appears a little confusing. I have the VPAv1_09Study.ts up and running. I have also been using the Green Arrow scan. It seems to work very well as long as I limit the scan to the Russell 2000 or smaller index. If I scan in "All Stocks" I get a T_ErrorScript execution timeout message.
This is a nice scan tool and thankyou to its creator. Being able to scan for stopping volume (green circle) and strength in downtrend (cyan square) would be welcomed also.
