a while back you were nice enough to point out videos posted in MP4 or FLV instead of zipped in an WMV file would be directly available on the Big Mike's Trading Forum site.
First, I thought maybe I'd load another program on my machine. Then the nightmare thought of complications due to another program on my main trading computer set in quicker than one of my stops get hit on a newly placed order.
I found a service that will convert files for free. Figured I'd share here on your thread as it is the only one on the site I could find related to file format conversions.
Check out this site: Zamzar - convert document, eBook, image, audio and video - free online file conversion for free file conversions. You simply follow the directions and they then convert your files, sending you a link to download them from to your email account. Their terms of service and limitations were a bit sketchy; said something about five files, but was it daily or forever? I'll find out in five times as today was conversion one. ;-)
Attaching picture of page. Rather than doubling up on Video Uploads my trading journal for today 8/7/2013 has a file that was converted from WMV to MP4. I did not notice any watermark which is a good thing. Also if they do limit to only five times then I'll do my best to get back to this thread to update.
Big Mike like I said before this is the only thread I found that was about file conversions. for wmv etc.
That said I told my daughter about the Zamzar site and of course she said she had some better ones that she would send me the links to. I have not tried them yet but here are the links as sent to me by my daughter. She says the advantage of using these sites is that it is a one step process as with Zamzar you do have to let them send you a download link for later to your email. For me it was instantaneous, but for her she considers the time lag to be to much.

Well the link worked. I did get to a site that looked like it would do the job, but after waiting a few minutes for a conversion I gave up and went to Zamzar.com
