Has anyone experienced Ninjatrader slowing down their PC clock? Mine runs slow whenever the market is busy. I replaced the battery but that didn't help. This computer is only used for trading. I use a different one for charting.

I've coded up a Strategy that (in theory) checks the timestamps from the exchange and compares it to your PC time. If they are out of whack more then 3 seconds, you get an alert.

Have a look at the news indicators of @roonius and @j0hnth0m. I think one of them has an alarm feature integrated.
Market open and close could be easily coded, if you use an appropriate session template. It takes less than five minutes to code an indicator, which catches the session breaks and alerts you some minutes earlier, so you won't miss them.
