Curious to know what you guys use for a clock on your computer. Do you use any special clock or alarm applications?

I've been using Qlock. Does anyone have others?

Depends what you want:

- decoration of your desktop to fill the last available space

- time conversion between different exchanges, because you are always confused by different daylight savings zones

- setting alarms for all news events

- watch synchronization between system clock and internet time, because you have a cheap data feed that comes without timestamps

Have a look at the news indicators of @roonius and @j0hnth0m. I think one of them has an alarm feature integrated.

Market open and close could be easily coded, if you use an appropriate session template. It takes less than five minutes to code an indicator, which catches the session breaks and alerts you some minutes earlier, so you won't miss them.

Ok, so this is what I settled on:

Good Timing
GrayJet - Good Timing
for scheduling audio files to be played at specific times.

I used the AT&T natural voices website to create the audio files that I want.
AT&T Labs Natural Voices Text-to-Speech Demo

and a time sync program called Dimension 4 to ensure time is correct. You can set it to sync as often as you want and choose the time server.
Thinking Man Software - Dimension 4 v5.0

This seems to be working well and does exactly what I want.

Hope this helps someone looking for the same thing.

Good Trading and follow your plan!

Its a web page with an accurate clock and actually tells you how accurate it is (ie, within 0.2 seconds)

The official U.S. time - clock
