* I've never used the W600 - it's still in the original sealed box.. I've used the 2460 and was planning to add more monitors but that plan is on hold.....
I believe Big Mike has the W600 (or had one) maybe he can comment on your issues..

If you turn off one of the monitors, then yes that will happen. But why are you turning them off? They should all enter power savings mode at the same time, and you won't have an issue.

I did experience a different issue where sometimes one of the monitors would not wake up from power savings mode, and cause the problem you described. That was a problem with the monitor and/or cable, not sure which, as I replaced both and problem never returned.

I had the same issue. Chased the problem to a faulty cable.

Which drivers are you using? The ones auto installed by Windows 10? Or downloaded from AMD's website?

Mike

Thanks @Big Mike I was using the Windows 10 drivers. But also had it upgraded from the AMD site using the Control Utility.
What i did end up doing today was getting the PC under Digital Tigers support. Called them and set it up. Have rolled back to Win 7 and will observe progress. Also it seems the R7k was being overclocked from 3.4 to 4.5 GHz which is now rolled back to 3.4. Seems overclocking may have also been a root cause of the Blue screens.

@sptrader thanks but will pass on that. If i have to get new graphics card....I will rather go for a W5xx series Thinkpad which will give atleast 6 displays. But this PC was at one time one of the higher end Stratosphere Evolution series and will try and maintain it if possible. Thanks though for the offer.

its quite common for traders following a bunch of DOMS to set up their screens in portrait (vertical) mode

i use 4 x (1920 x 1200) identical IPS monitors which are suitable for portrait. I do not suffer eye fatigue looking at these things in portrait for hours at a time
i stick with gaming cards for the frequent driver updates, ability to watercool for total silence and the array of displayport outputs available. Still using a 7970 GPU with 4 x displayport out. If buying today, nvidia offer plenty of cars with minimum 3 displayport out

Never had problems with a multi monitor setup on W7 and now W10

i treat the 4 screens as one big panel, and via displayfusion pro, charts fill different portions of the entire panel depending on which displayfusion pro "button" i click on the title bar
