I am annoyed, because Microsoft is permanently spying on me. So I will replace as many Microsoft products with other products. As of today, I will stop using Internet Explorer. Here comes the reason:

When I start Internet Explorer - even before connecting anywhere - it creates the following cookies

- atdmt.com
- atdmt.combing.com
- msn.com
- windowsmarketlist.com
- zune.net

I have found no way to stop this happening. You can blacklist the cookies under internet options, but Internet Explorer will simply ignore this, as they are Microsoft sponsored cookies. I can remove them with CCleaner - an excellent clean up tool - but with the next start of Internet Explorer all cookies will come back. I also have immunized my system with Spybot, but the cookies will always reappear.

What are these cookies doing?

The first two of them belong to the Atlas Institute, which is an affiliate of Microsoft. "We make buying and selling media simpler, smarter and cost-effective". Indeed, if Microsoft tracks every website I am visiting and every mail I am receiving and sending and scrutinizes this via its Atlas Institute, they will have a nice profile of my habits and can use it for sending me on spot advertising pop-ups and spamming me. Also they can send some copies to the US administration.

The other three cookies are Microsoft cookies that serve a similar purpose. I am probably getting them, because I am a user of Windows Live Mail, which allows me for IMAP access to various mail providers. The cookies are also generated, if I start Windows Live Mail with Internet Explorer closed.

Spying on You is the New Business Modell of Microsoft, Google, Apple and Facebook

If you were astonished to learn about the market value of Facebook, here is the reason. Google and Microsoft can only update your profile by using your browsing habits and by screening your e-mails. Facebook as a social network can collect much more confidential information than Google and Microsoft ever will.

Welcome to the new e-World!

It is as predicted by George Orwell in his book 1984. Just it is private organizations spying on you as well as the state.

Your defense: Not admitting the spies. I will use Firefox and Opera. They are not spying. I won't use Chrome or Safari, they might be even worse than Internet Explorer.

Please forgive my arrogance:

Why did you put Apple in that list ? They are not making such cookies.

Have you ever though about that clean hair does not make up for clean thoughts? Do not know this guy anyhow. I just exploited some evidence on my PC.

Now using Opera. It is a nice browser.

Apple does not yet make large revenues from advertising, but it would certainly be the next logical step. The applications that can be loaded to apple device certainly collect user information. Apple's own apps might be cleaner, but the stuff loaded from other suppliers is certainly at least as dirty as that hair you saw.

For more information follow this link

Do you still think that your beloved Apple is clean?

Also, I do not understand that Microsoft Security Essentials did not find the Microsoft Atlas Spyware! How can this happen?
