Guess by wifi was assuming you meant a wireless network router..
Works great over my linksys.. prob not if your talking cellular..

Another alternative might be this mouse.. (I personally use this)

I utilize bluetooth button to switch between computer and a pad..
and couldn't live without the hyper-fast scroll capabilities!

Although I've never looked, There are probably similar type keyboards..
I have an old kmv box that I'd sell you cheap for the keyboard.. (LOL)
