2560 x 1440 for a 27", that's really very good.
I have a 26" with only 1920x1200, and I think 26" is a bit too much for this resolution, 24" is enough for 1920x1200.
With this 27", it seems you'll have the good resolution/size ratio.

The monitor would satisfy me ... lol .. I suggest getting a video card with display port ..it will cost about same as the monitor ... or you can use a cheaper card but it may not be the best match.
I just got a new Dell system with a 21.5 inch screen. Not as big
as what some use, but far far better than what I had. There's always
something bigger though.
