I used my MacBook Pro for awhile with Bootcamp and a virtual machine, but finally went with a PC. Just too much trouble you have to go through to use a Mac IMO. Just get a PC.

Human-I-t on eBay has some great deals on refurbished computers. Plus it helps a charity. I have bought from them before. If you’re interested let me know, I’ll help you out anyway I can on recommendations

I just bought a new computer and I decided on a desktop tower that are more powerful. I have been recommended to buy an intel and that is at least a 15. At least 8 gigas of ram and disk ssd.

I have a laptop with 32gb and still experience lag.

I recommend a laptop with dedicated graphics and 6 core +

While I agree that having a fast CPU & great graphics capability is important, another serious problem is the signal lag, in both directions. 1st, you need to to get the fastest internet connection you can afford. 2nd, hardwire your machine to your router; WiFi introduces delay in the signals. 3rd, you need to measure the signal lag (using some of the ‘how fast is my internet’ tools available on line). I’ve been told to shoot for less than 5ms, with 15ms as the maximum acceptable. Where I live, even with a gigabit line, I couldn’t better 50ms, even during the middle of the night — 75ms was my best during trading hours. The lag kills you more than a slower speed does. YMMV

If you still have experience lag,it depends on what you do with the computer.
