Haven't found the time yet, but will most likely invest in this. I'm even considering a gaming keyboard, although that is probably less important for my needs...

That particular model seems to be often mentioned and recommended. Are you happy with this one and feel it's an significant improvement over a 'regular' mouse?

My old mouse died - to be fair to my son - that was a Razer too.

This one felt a bit too responsive when I got it - but it's like an extension of my arm now.

Last mouse I had was double clicking each time I single clicked - that was fun.

My chromebook requires a gaming mouse to get the right speed. When I moved from CO. to AZ I was loading my storage room and this kid stole my mouse out of the back of my MiniVan as I was loading my stuff into my space that I rented. Can you believe that?

I must go buy a new one. Does anybody use a chromebook...I can go on Amazon and look at my order history to find out what I had...it was sexy with buttons on the side and all that.

I used a Logitech G400 in Win7 and thought it was the best mouse I ever had. The resolution (or sensitivity) can be adjusted on the fly with buttons. When I upgraded to Win10, it began causing problems. It still works on a Linux machine but not 100%. I would recommend it if you could be assured that you were getting a newer gen for win10.

Now, I use a DeathAdder for win10 and don't have any complaints.

I like hardwired because I think its more reliable, and it ain't a mouse if you can't swing it by it's tail, right?

I've been using a Red Dragon M908 and love it for Ninjatrader. Its programmed for most of the ordering and cancel order, close position etc. I scalp nq on very fast charts so its a must. Personally, I use that coupled with chart trader and Tickhunter for sort of a constellation approach. Order execution mastery helps and is totally under rated. Think of a tennis pro learning all about the game but never hitting the ball or becoming a master of the swing...order execution is actually trading..and for me a gaming mouse is very helpful.

I've had some issues being simply too slow at times, so I'm considering adding a ClickTrader to my ChartTrader on Ninja. Or maybe just learning to use the DOM (one click entry).

A problem with multiple large monitors is the standard mouse DPI/CPI is too low and thus too slow (metric reference: 2 x 55 inch 4K)

for purposes of efficiency the cursor is required to fly at lightning speed across multiple system screens.
trying to find the ideal mouse can become a series of wasteful purchases - however, gaming - button programmable mice tend to fit the bill.
the programmable middle button comes in handy to control any trading platform feature that supports hot-keys.
side buttons if not required can be disabled.
if not hard core gamer the SteelSeries Riva 110 at ~~720~~ CPI may fit the bill

Edit: The CPI is 7,200

Some may like it hot, some may like it cold - some my like an abundance of features, some may like minimalistic features.
