If I would have to buy a new system it would be a xeon. IŽam running a 8 year old xeon and I do not know what a blue screen is. Stability is important in trading and not speed.

Blue screens don't really even exist any more. If anyone is having a system lock up on them, it has nothing to do with Xeon or not.

That was not my experience. From dual core to xeon quad core only swap was the cpu ------ by by blue screen.

IŽam still on a 775 platform.

You have problems elsewhere. I've built thousands of systems over the last 30 years, blue screens or stability in general have nothing to do with Xeon vs non-Xeon.
