40JU6500. The desk is 72" x 36". Approx 3.5' viewing distance.

i think it might be tough to fit 3 of them curved 40in screens on a 73-78in desk. would have to build something out(extensions) for them to sit on if thats the case.

dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Another damaged unit, ouch (not mine).

I got the freight forwarder to unbox mine, confirm the screen is undamaged, re-box it, and then build a wooden crate around it. Plus add insurance. So, hoping everything will be fine when I finally get it in a couple weeks. Monitor was like $950 but it will cost me another $700-750 or so to get it here...

As I guessed 48" (I had posted a LG 49") is probably the best size.

After reading the thread, I'm interested in replacing my 4x27 in with either a single 40 inch or 2x40 inch.

What graphics cards would you recommend for 2x40? I current run and AMD Firepro 2460 which won't cut it.

The guy at Microcenter told me that I would need a latest generation card like the GTX980, but I'm not sure as they try to sell you the most expensive stuff.

On another note, I wonder if there is a software to divide the screen into 'zones', so I could put my charts in defined areas. E.g. 4 zone areas for 4 charts or 1 vertical zone and 2 others, etc. Otherwise, every time I maximize a chart or a browser it will take the entire screen blocking everything else. Of course, it's something you can handle with few more clicks and positioning the charts (and avoiding maximizing), but I think this may drive me crazy...
It would be like making your TV into a multi-monitor set up without bezels (just a fine line on the screen?). A 50" TV is equivalent to 4 24-27" monitors more or less.
Maybe, someone will create such a software as these TV/monitors become more common...

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for:

"Monitor splitting allows you to divide your monitor into multiple "virtual" monitors with their own Taskbars, Wallpapers, and Screen Savers. Windows will maximize to the size of the "virtual" monitors, and DisplayFusion Functions, such as "Move to Next Monitor" also take the splits into account. Monitor splitting is great for Nvidia Surround and AMD Eyefinity setups, including ones with bezel corrected resolutions!"
Precise Monitor Controls ? Features ? DisplayFusion ? Binary Fortress Software

I may even try it with my current set up (I currently use UltraMonitor software which is very basic).

I'm glad someone else thought about this...

Did someone get some of these curved screens and can share some pictures with TradeStation, NinjaTrader, etc. charts? I'm curious to see how they would appear on such a huge screen. Also, any comments on pros-cons from your previous multi-monitor set up?

Mine is still sitting in the office, unopened. Plan to set it up after I return from vacation end of June.
