For anyone interested:

Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB on sale at Best Buy for $109.

Don't know how good is that, but I would be interested in a 500 GB version.

good one - would never have considered it as an option here in Australia as local retail price is between $400 and $500!
Note it has mini displayport outputs so factor in cost of adaptors?

nice they updated the driver to now do portrait

I Hope it will work out ok with this one...i read some were setting it as 3x1 and the 3rd Monitor was set to Extend onto the 4th one....there was no actual 4x1......tech said it would do 4x1 with this new driver.
i found some 2560x1440 27" Acer IPS Panels for 299...but price increased today by 60...so i am still watching prices.

I know this is not the best card out there, but i think it will be what i use in my new build....i just receive email from
Tech that the Firepro W4100 will run 4x1 or 4 Monitors in Portrait Mode by downloading the latest driver which they sent me the link.
This Card Supports High Resolution up to 2560x1600 per Display for a Total 4 Displays $ 150

How many monitors are you trying to run?

just grab a couple to start with, you might find thats more than enough or at tops pick up three, and try them in portrait and landscape
you'd be crazy to get four until you find you are "needing" more real estate when using 3

EZ TC is in the biz of selling computers and use the same components. Don't listen to hype, trading on Ninja is not like landing a robot on an asteroid. Just ask @GaryD who built his computer for about $700 and works just fine.

My build is far beyond what I thought it would be, I am very happy. It has run completely flawless to date.

Regarding Ninja, I ran it a few times to see what it does on this computer, and while the computer can handle it, NT still eats up (as of a few months ago) 2 to 3 times the resources as Sierra.

@GaryD,

Can't believe how much improvement one can get by just replacing a hard drive on the same computer with a $105 Samsung SSD 840 256GB. Running NT on this computer is now at least 10 times faster, much quieter, and 30 seconds or more loading charts now loads in less than 2 seconds.

Best yet, with the Samsung CD kit and a SATA USB cable, installation can not be any simpler for dummies. This $105 expense is heck of lot less than a monthly supply of stomach acid remedies.

Cheers!
