Macbook Pro w/ Retina user here also using a Windows 8.1 VM.

Intel i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, Nvidia dedicated graphics.

im looking at purchasing 2 additional monitors to connect to my machine so i don't have to switch windows while trading. saves time and confusion.

dream machines are Lenovo W540, Dell Precision M-3800 and of course the Apple Macbook Pro.

Anyone has used Lenovo Thinkpad e540 series for trading purpose? I am keen to know how are the heating issues compared to the prior version like e431 & e530. I have been using e431, excellent machine except for the overheating problems which causes me to worry.
