I encountered all attachments having their filename changed, when downloading.
To illustrate, I attached the indicator "SignalBars.zip" to this post,
if I hover my mouse cursor over the attachment, it shows a serialise number name instead, which is the new name being downloaded to my pc.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
It is an IE11 problem. It's just the most recent in a long list of problems with IE. I'll see if anyone has posted a solution on vbulletin, but it might just have to wait until I replace vbulletin in 2014.
Plan to switch to IPB 4, but it will be an absolutely massive undertaking to get it right and to not upset too many people. I will post about it more when ready.
Thank you for your transparency. It would be quite the migration indeed considering the database conversion and module migration. As IP. Suite owner I can only applaud your decision.
