I encountered all attachments having their filename changed, when downloading.
To illustrate, I attached the indicator "SignalBars.zip" to this post,
if I hover my mouse cursor over the attachment, it shows a serialise number name instead, which is the new name being downloaded to my pc.

It is an IE11 problem. It's just the most recent in a long list of problems with IE. I'll see if anyone has posted a solution on vbulletin, but it might just have to wait until I replace vbulletin in 2014.

Hello All,

There is a quick and easy fix to this problem. While you can't uninstall Internet Explorer, you can uninstall updates and, fortunately, IE11 is an update.

Open the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel). Click on "Uninstall a Program" (Programs > Uninstall a Program). On the left margin there is a selection "View Installed Updates." Click on this and scroll down to "Internet Explorer 11" under the "Microsoft Windows" heading. Uninstall "Internet Explorer 11" by highlighting it, right mouse click and left mouse select "uninstall." Once completed, you should be asked to "Restart the Computer." Once that completes, you will be running IE10 for which there are no problems downloading or viewing attachments on futures.io (formerly BMT).

Would those of you who have experienced this problem in IE11 please do a new test, and let me know if it has now been resolved or not.

1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
