Hi All!
Just ran into a snag and hoping someone has an answer for it.
When I try to Copy code from Ninja Script Editor into a post on BigMikes or even a notepad file it will not paste. I have tried the quick buttons at the top of page, tried to right click copy/paste and also tried Ctrl C/ Ctrl V.
Only happens on this computer. Works fine on another computer!!!
Has anyone had this issue before?
Thanks for looking!!!

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Q. I am unable to copy and paste anything, like copying a Word document and pasting it into an e-mail, or even copying text in an e-mail and trying to paste it in the same e-mail. When I try to do this in Excel, I get an error saying “Cannot empty the clipboard”. If I view the clipboard, it’s empty. Have you seen this before?
A. I dug around and it would appear that this issue is caused by a application called rdpclip.exe which is used to enable cut and paste for copying files while using Remote Desktop or Terminal Services.
To resolve the issue quickly, activate the Task Manager by hitting Ctrl Alt Delete and locate rdpclip.exe in the Processes menu. Highlight the process and select End Process and then you should be able to cut and paste just fine.
I imagine that if you do a lot of this then the clipboard gets too full or simply malfunctions due to the size of files one might copy from one machine to another.
Interestingly enough, in my research I have found nothing to indicate that Microsoft is aware of this problem and I see no permanent fix for it.
The first time I encountered it myself a reboot cleared it up. If you are prone to leaving your PC on for extended periods of time it is always a good idea to reboot the computer when it starts to act erratic or flaky in any way.
Great find on the thread you posted!!!! I did not find that one!!
I could be the person typing in that thread as thats exactly whats happening to eme and what I have done to try and resolve!!
I had never heard of such issues!!
I update every Monday morning before working. Thanks for asking though!
It looks like there is a good solution in that thread! Copy and Paste is working fine this AM but I am ready now for when it fails!
Thank you for your reply and your fantastic website and all you do here!!
Big Mike's Trading Forum it the place to go for anything for traders of all levels!! My trading and views on trading have evolved exponentially since finding your website!!
Big Mike's response was on the top of my email list and I did not see your post until after I checked out Mike's.
Your fix is exactly what Mike had found!
I cant tell ya how much I appreciate you guys!!! This forum is fantastic!! Full of great people!!!
I have noted and bookmarked and ready for the issue next time.
This is a very random event that I have not been able to pinpoint!
I don't use copy and paste very often at all. This computer generally runs charts only but when I have a task in mind I use it because it has the horsepower compared to my old laptop!!
I also shut it down every evening.
I had not been able to find a solution so I thought I would post a question. Hopefully this may help someone else as well.
Thank you again for your help and time!!! I am learning to search better!!!!
