I don't either - well not exactly like Mike's. Are you on an 'i' device? [Edit: just noticed you are not on i device]

If so select the Forum you want to create the new thread in, the screen should then display a list of threads that already exist in that Forum.

In the very top right hand corner is a icon which looks like an arrow coming out of a box.

Hit that wee sucker and a menu comes up, one of the options being to create a new topic.
